SPECIAL EVENTS

Love was in the air at Lift Me Up's Valentine's Open House!  While the horses LOVED the treats and Valentine's made for them, we loved all the connections we made with new friends, potential riders and campers, volunteers and more!!!  Despite the pouring rain and chillier than normal temperatures, open house goers stayed warm as they mingled with all the horses with warm cider and hot chocolate. Kids of all ages enjoyed making horse treats [made from grain and shredded carrots topped with berries and crushed candy canes] and then choosing the horse's bucket to leave the treat in.  The horses couldn't wait, so our youngest participants held treat buckets up to their noses for the horses to enjoy!  

What a wonderful welcome the DC crowd gave to Lift Me Up! at the Summer Soirée.  The Garden at the Graham Georgetown’s Townhouse was the perfect setting to meet new friends and raise funds to benefit Lift Me Up's Therapeutic Riding and Wellness Programs. Thank you to everyone who came by and all the sponsors who donated raffle items.  Your support and contributions will enable us to continue offering our services to those who need it most.
